Why would the United States need a fleet of the F-47 fighter jet fielded in the 2030s?

It probably has some sort of tech-demo sitting somewhere, but there’s no photographic evidence of US’s 6th gen jet, there’s claims of it undergoing tests for 5 year, but five years without a single photo of it’s existence? They had to present an AI rendered image of the plane instead of the real deal, hell, we don’t even have evidence that this susposed F-47 even exist, So sorry to break our American audience’s ego, but the fact is you guys can’t give us a photo of the F-47.

USA doesn’t even HAVE an flyable F-47.

Unlike the F-35, the F-47 isn’t a joint-cooperation aircraft, there’s nobody else other than boeing doing the R&D, so I’ll be skeptical as for how good the quality is of the F-47. But no matter how shitty the resulting aircraft is, the US is gonna need to field it regardless in face of China’s growing fleet of 6th gen aircraft.

US might show us a prototype by the end of this year, and given the striking records of boeing’s planes(pun intended), we might see it entering service at the end of 2030 if everything goes according to schedule, while for China, the first batch of J-36 might enter service by the start of 2026.
